Is this too much?

Let me reiterate this, you're overloading yourself.

calculus, chemistry, statistics, and physics is just ridiculous, unless you want to exclude social events from your life and study all day your senior year. You may be smart and get very good grades in them, but the amount of homework will be devastating.

Hey man - my advice:

Unfortunately, most teenagers (well, me, but I'll be bold and say everyone) are rather stubborn, and don't consent well to the advice of others, and really make the best decisions when they've screwed up the previous one on the same topic. So - in my junior year I decided to take 3 demanding social science courses, plus varsity soccer, and debate. That semester, I stayed up consistently to about 4 am every night, and I got what my ER doctors called a stress induced sickness (really hardcore pain in my stomach, and intense chills) at the end of the semester. But hey, I'm an addrenaline junkie, so what can I say?

Moral of the story, I realized that I couldn't pull everything off. I was falling asleep in class, not doing as well in classes as I could have (well, A-s and one B+ instead of As), and seriously making a fool of myself at soccer. Though I'm still my same old self and thoroughly enjoy adrennaline, I now know what I can and cannot handle, and only schedule extra things if I know I can get out of them or evade their consequences if I need the slack.

If the programs are both AP (chem and physics), then that may be harder. Stats is an absolute joke, but some teachers can make it hell by requiring a lot of essay writing (I know - why the F should I write papers in a HS math class?!). But I've heard that AP Chem and Phys are large pains.... But on the other hand, if you're young, just go for it and learn from your experiences. I know I still get high off the thrill of staying up all night doing work, waking up the next day, beating the majority of people in my class on tests, etc., and then doing it all over again. In fact, there was an article in the WashPost that commented on how the new thing in HS is to try and see how much you can do - how much you can suffer - without 1) suffering a drop in grades or performance in ECs, or 2) dying.

I love the game.

haha that's great.

It all depends on what you want to do and what you like. ...And how smart you are :-) But seriously, I'm in 6 AP's right now, including the new AP Spanish, Calc BC and Chem, and even though I'm much more of a Humanities/Writing type student, AP Chem is easily my favorite class. Consider how the class is at your school (our teacher is awesome), and then decide.
