Is this too unrealistic? Please help me.

First off, I should warn you, my gpa is quite low. I use to be top in my class in middle school but ever since I entered highschool, I've slacked off so much and have not started taking school seriously until junior year. And now, I love studying very much. And am willing to work as hard as I can to get into college.

3.2 gpa <- intended gpa after 1st semester senior year.

SAT: 650v 750m

Took all honors classes and am taking AP Physics, AP Calculus, and AP Chemistry + all honors my senior year.

I have a fair amount of club credits, many hours of internship, and many hours of community service.

I've been looking into the engineering school at Northeastern. I've also been looking into Carnegie Mellon (yes I know, a reach), Boston U, and PennState University Park. I've also been thinking about transferring to MIT later.

Any advice, critique, chances at these colleges, anything would be greatly appreciated. Can you tell me about the engineering programs at Northeastern and how they rank with other engineering schools. Oh, btw, I'm an asian female :]

Thanks

Northestern engineering school is ranked #60 among the best engineering schools in the country. Maybe if you apply undecided and declare your major it would be easier to get in.

I think you can get in...

I got into the engineering school with a 28 ACT, 4.3 wgpa, 3.94 uw, lots of ECs, 7 APs, and about 18 credits from a local college. My SATs are ALOT lower then yours but my GPA is quite a bit higher then yours. BUT, I am a female looking for engineering so that could have worked in my favor.

My gpa is the same as yours and my SAT scores are lower. I don't have as many AP and honors classes and my ECs are so-so. I was accepted into the college of engineering at Northeastern, but I was rejected from Penn State UP.

Thanks you guys. More advice?
