<p>My friend told me that Georgia Tech is easier to get into than UGA, and he told me that what they do is they multiply your GPA by your SAT score and if you meet the standards then your will probably get in. I told him I have a 3.64 GPA right now and he said I would only need about a 1700 SAT score. Is ANY of that true?</p>

<p>They have their own “weighting” system. You receive a bump for AP only. You can look at their online application and calculate it. I assume they haven’t changed it from previous years.</p>
<p>Your “friend” is clueless. Check out the Admission site on the GT web page. They tell you exactly what they are looking for in an applicant. Don’t believe your friend.</p>
