<p>Whoa, we’ve gotten a long ways from the OP. When a HS counselor tells a WHOLE CLASS not to mention college courses, then yeah s/he is “whacked.” As for the Devil’s Advocate insights that MAY apply to one particular situation or another, all I can add is that my D’s freshman year roommate entered college with 62 credits, and almost all of those courses were taken during HS at a flagship public university (where both of her parents were professors). She was housed in a freshman dorm … draw your own conclusion.</p>
