Is this wrong of me?

(not a new member here, i have contributed a lot in the past...but i forgot my password -_- and i can't find it in my email for some reason)

anyway, would this be wrong of me?

yesterday, in apush class, these guys were making fun of me (i'm a guy). i know they make fun of me so I just ignore it. but today, they threw a really sharp mechanical pencil at me and it almost hit my eye (probably .5 cm near my eye...that close). i felt that it did and that my eye was hurting and everything was going blurry (although it probably was not...). I wanted them to stop so I told one of them that (there were two of them) "oh god, if something happens to me..i'm gonna sue your as*ses to the wall". was that mean of me? i mean i wanted them to stop....when they threw it and it hit me, and when i looked at them, they started laughing so much that i realized that i am pretyt much considered the loser at my school..o well -_-

anyway, do you think I am on the wrong? I don't want to go overboard considering that they might jump me or gang up on me and make fun or w/e

Get their asses suspended.

are you serious? i mean what if it was like that playful thingy that everybody does? like throwing stuff at each other…although i have never heard of a pencil being thrown…-_-

Throwing a mechanical pencil at someone’s face is not “playful”. Harassment is certainly valid criteria for suspension.

Sounds like you have a case.

I’d get them for it if it continues.

Ok…but they might say “where is the proof?” other people might not vouch for me, either because they don’t give a crap about me or they don’t want to get involved…even though a lot of people saw it…

the teacher didn’t see it though…but i told another teacher when i asked him and a group of students if my eye was looking ok

I’d say, tell the teacher what’s going on.

S/he should then keep an eye out for it. If you have any friends in the class, let them know.

Its harrassment/assault. They should be happy you didn’t get them carried away with cuffs.

i mean yea i guess i have a few friends, but they prefer others over me. i’m like last minute entertainment because apparently “i dont talk that much”

although there are like 2 other kids who are practicallly mutes but oh of course,e veryone likes them. they don’t even come off as friendly…and i am a very friendly person, except for today…because i was thinking that if i go blind, those people who threw the pencil won’t care…they will just move on with thier lives while I live the rest of my life in hell

should i go with scaring them into thinking that I am suing them? lol

and yea true I guess.but i have one more year in that hell house…i don’t want to make my life even crappier by doing something like that…arghh i hate high school

no one will be scared of you threatening to sue them. it’s pretty much an empty threat and you are thinking it to have more weight than it really does. However, as others have suggested you should tell the teacher. If you consider yourself a nice person, then your niceness streak did not end by telling someone that you’re going to sue them, after they were making fun of you/harassing you.

And they’re in a apush class? Wow, I’d be ticked because you think by being in an AP class you’ll escape all immature people. I guess not. Seriously, just tell them off, make a scene, and they’ll be sure to shut up.

I’ll beat them up for it.

lol thanks hilsa

and yea i guess klebian…but i don’t want to come off as a tattle tale loser person who has no friends

and yup pinkstarcloud, a lot of people are immature, i suppose…only a few select people are nice and don’t make fun of each other

My school is like that too.

It ****ed me off today, one of the biggest cheaters and only in honors because mommy is the calculus teacher kind of students called me an idiot because I asked him to make sure I was correct in believing tornado was on land and hurricane was at water. He wouldn’t shut up. I threatened to hit his head repeatitively into the brick wall. I’m glad that teacher for the class knows me really well… I would have been dead otherwise.

throwing sharp metal objects eh? they crossed the line there. I say go for it dude. But threatening to sue them is not a good idea here, they will not take it seriously are continue to make fun of you. I recommend start taking some self-defence classes and gain some muscles. making some gangster friends would also work but may be difficult.

ya go tell the teacher you puss. god you northern kids sure do find ways to be a bunch of flaming sissies.

if you want him to quit, punch him. if he doesnt then keep punching him. dont go tell the teacher you waste of air.

if i were u, i’d go with post #14, hilsa’s advice, but then… there are better ways. haha.

First, I don’t like the sound of your school.

but, but, but…

C’mon. Would you rather have this happen again, possibly, and be blind in one of your eyes? I would be a tattle-tale, since they already aren’t your friends and all.

Just keep your head up. Only one more year in that hell house!
