Is Tisch's film program worth over 200k in debt?

<p>One year of school costs more than my parents make in a year (as of this writing, as far as I'm aware, I'm still getting $0 from NYU), and while it is possible for me and them to get huge loans to at least pay the first year, is the program really good enough to be worth it? Because my options right now are either to go to a prestigious school that is actually worth a damn or to go to Arizona State University, which in comparison to NYU is a joke.</p>

<p>Does Tisch give me earnings potential that would make the massive loans worth it, or should I just throw all of that work I did in high school away and go to a school I could have gone to without breaking a sweat?</p>

<p>No school is worth that much debt unless it’s a top 10 law or med school IMO.</p>

<p>And I know how it can be frustrating; being accepted to a great school but having to settle for a not-so-great one because of finances. Makes you feel like you wasted your time.</p>

<p>At least at ASU you’ll stand out and be one of the top students.</p>
