One year of school costs more than my parents make in a year (as of this writing, as far as I'm aware, I'm still getting $0 from NYU), and while it is possible for me and them to get huge loans to at least pay the first year, is the program really good enough to be worth it? Because my options right now are either to go to a prestigious school that is actually worth a damn or to go to Arizona State University, which in comparison to NYU is a joke.

Does Tisch give me earnings potential that would make the massive loans worth it, or should I just throw all of that work I did in high school away and go to a school I could have gone to without breaking a sweat?
