I know this question has been asked like five bajillion times already (yes, I have read each and every page on the past GT threads), but I’ve never found a straight answer. Someone mentioned that despite fulfilling all the Transfer Option requirements as outlined by their college, they are still waiting on a “final” decision from Cornell. Has someone who fulfilled all the requirements every been rejected as GT? Is it basically guaranteed FOR SURE? I was just offered CALS Transfer Option (I think so at least, my portal letter is super vague) and as you can see, I’m pretty jazzed about it!! Thanks 
You’ll probably get a more definitive letter in the next week or so. The Transfer Option is great – just be sure to choose a freshman school where you can do really well and will prepare you for the upcoming years at Cornell!
