DD has visited U of T and Trinity twice. On her last visit, she met with an adviser to discuss course selection / scheduling. Attending the June orientation will cost about $500. What can she expect to gain from this orientation?
If she’s already visited twice and understands how course registration works, then there’s probably not much to be gained from attending. Many Canadian students don’t set foot on their chosen campus until September. DS attended the June orientation and mainly learned about course registration. There is a parent orientation at the same time which is probably useful for parents who didn’t attend a Canadian university.
