Is two pages (Double-Spaced) too long for a Common App Essay?

<p>Is two pages (Double-Spaced) too long for a Common App Essay? It is a full two pages. I ask because the Common App esays to keep it between 250-500 words but I'm having a hard time doing so and it sin't like they are going to count it. It is about 600 words. </p>

<p>Like I said though, it is two whole pages and is double-spaced.</p>

<p>The word limit is a guide, a little bit over is fine if you have something good to say. Conciseness is always preferable, though.</p>
