<p>I think we have to consider a few things, and make a distinction with the following. How liberal or conservative a student is relative to the student body at Berkeley, and how liberal or conservative the student body is relative to America, or perhaps California or the world (depending on what you're talking about).</p>
<p>If we really wanted to deal with this topic well, we would have to start actually defining things. Oh, the time it would take.</p>
