Hi everyone!

I want to major in International relations, and I was accepted to UCLA, UC Berkeley.
I was waitlisted from George Washington Univeristy, and rejected from Georgetown.

I am strongly considering going to UC Berkeley, but it seems to be more known for its math and sciences...

George Washington said that if I wanted to, I could attach another essay to be bumped up to admitted, but im not sure if i should try...

If UC Berkeley is good enough then I'm happy going there.

Could someone please tell me what you think?

No one in my family ever went to a college in America so I'm very confused...
It would mean a lot to me if someone could help >.<
Thank you!

Are you by any chance, a girl, who did A-levels from, KU? I met one girl, in the USEF library, who also wanted to study International Relations. Well, if you are, i am happy for you. I was also accepted at UC, by my financial aid application wasn’t considered ( As it was late). So, you might know that UC has the largest chain of colleges, and its majors are well respected. Many of the popular, film personalities, politicians and other public figures have graduated from there. So do not hesitate to enroll there, and they also have the most highly-paid professors in the US, so all the best to you, and do reply to their admissions decisions on time.

Hi Bineetojha. No…i dont think so. I’m a girl but i live in illinois
Ok thanks for the input!

I think this could be the wrong forum for you. The members of this forum are applicants from Nepal. You might want to find and re-post your question to the UC-Berkeley forum.

You don’t enroll in a college just because your favorite star or musician had studied there. You are a different person!

Just saying.
