Hello.

I'm a senior psychobiology major here at FAU. There are two tracks: Behavioral Neuroscience (which I'm in) or Ethology. For my track, you definitely have to be interested in neurons, neurotransmitters, cortical anatomy, learning and memory, etc.

Anyway, I've had nothing but great experiences with it and I'd definitely recommend this degree to someone who is biologically-interested but wants to major in psych.

yay for old-thread-revival :D

my psych professor said psychobiology, biopsychology, psychological biology are all essentially the same major...different schools choose to call it different names i guess

'tis true.

According to Wikipedia:

"Biological psychology is also known as biopsychology, psychobiology, physiological psychology, behavioral neuroscience, and neuropsychology."

So there you have it.

Are there any schools in NJ with the Psychobiology major? I looked heaven and earth and couldn’t find anything.
