I have looked on their housing website, but I am still not sure. If anyone has any idea whether or not you can connect wirelessly at UF please let me know! thank you

Most classrooms/buildings have wireless, also the circa labs and libraries. Dorms are slowly getting wireless. I forget when, but supposedly UF is trying to enable all dorms to have wireless, but for now the office areas(and such) have wireless.(They are slight cases, Jennings I got wireless, but in Trusler it says I'm connected but there isnt actual wireless in the rooms)

Hope that helps

Here's how it works.

you ahve something called an ethernet port in your room in which you use an..you guessed it, ethernet cable to connect by wire to your computer. what you can do, however, is buy something called an access point. what that device will do is plug into that ethernet cable and transmit the signal wireless in your room.

in other words, unless you make the effort your stuck wired. this is, however, in dorms only as ufstudent said. all other areas mostly have wireless.
