Might take it next semester. should i take econ 1 first to prepare for this class? is UGBA 10 difficult?

it’s not hard and it doesn’t have much to do with econ 1.

econ is infinitely harder than ugba (im not kidding)

Econ is harder in content, but you have to factor in the grade distribution and competitiveness of the two classes.

The thing i realized is that no matter how competitive UGBA is 34/35 will still be an A, so as long as you can memorize terms (a.k.a. do well in hs and get into Cal in the first place) it should be no trouble. Thus, the playing field is relatively level.
With econ, you have to be able to apply several concepts in a huge variety of ways. Some people are better than others, hence the grade distribution is much more stretched out.

neither class is hard. The curve of the class (15% A’s, etc) make it difficult. They are weeder classes
