is UIUC accounting hard?

I am a transfer student from a community college that's transferring to UIUC accounting as a junior. I want to know how hard the school is.

Community college was pretty easy and I'm almost certain UIUC will not be. I also got into DePaul but I read that UIUC accounting is ranked #2 nationally and will increase my chances to get into a top four accounting firm. However, I've heard that DePaul is easier because of small class sizes. So I'd just like to know how hard UIUC would be for a community college transfer student.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Imagine getting a position right out of college from a top accounting firm. The hours are long and the work is challenging. But you have been chosen because you have demonstrated your abilities to succeed at a high level. You are expected to perform immediately. Yes, UIUC’s Accounting program is rigorous, but the preparation is virtually unparalleled. If you have made it this far, you are more than likely capable of handling the pressure of a top notch undergraduate program in this field.

Thanks for your response! UIUC it is…

hello. I am an accounting student trying to transfer to UIUC. I also study in the community college right now. I just want to ask what kind of requirements you have to get admitted by UIUC. I always think I have little possibility to get admitted by UIUC since I am a transfer community college student.
I have 4.0 both unweighted and weighted GPA.
I have 45 credit hours so far. After this fall semester, I will have 60 credit hours.
I have two part-time jobs, one is working as a student worker in my school and the other is working as sales associate which will start around next month.
I volunteer to teach a Chinese student English for a local primary school.
I served for the student senate last semester.

How much chance you think I have to get admitted?
