<p>I've heard that it's nearly impossible, but does anyone who is actually doing their undergrad at caltech want to give some advice?</p>
<p>Put it this way: the average person probably wouldn’t last a semester at Caltech.</p>
<p>Eh…paraphrasing the words of my Ch1b prof (since I can’t remember his exact words): [gestures at a list on the projected slide] This is the material I usually taught in 6 weeks at Stanford. You have until this Friday to look over all of it on your own.</p>
<p>I work with many Caltech grads and yes, even former hs stars struggle. However, if they admit you, they believe you can do the work–what they don’t do is explain how hard it will be for most.</p>
