Please Help!

You have too many C's. I can tell you are smart from the tests and everything, but those C's are killing you. Your ECs aren't special, which you know. I am going to say USC is a reach for you. There is a chance, but I don't think it is that hopeful. I would suggest USD to you just because it is in San Diego and they will give you merit money probably. Another good one is Cal Poly because I think you would be into math and sciences. You are a pretty sure bet there.

It's a definite reach, but you should still apply. You do have a chance.

I would immediately say no. As for USC itself, probably not either. But I have seen people with grades the same as yours get in with high SAT scores. So if you keep improving your SATs, then you could have a pretty decent shot. By the way, being Korean-American won't necessarily help you unless you're looking for specific scholarships.

I completely agree with Sirwatson. THe most important part is still the transcript. Compare to the majority of collegebound seniors, your schedule seems tough (afterall, AP chem and Calc sophmore years). However, you have to realize that there are others who did the same and have more ideal grades. The upward trends seems a bit late. Also, had other subjects compensated for your C's, then one can understand more better and have a better shot.
