Is USC easy to to get into if you dont apply for financial aid?

I am curious. Is it correct 60% of your senior class applied to SC? That seems terribly high.

Recently I attended a seminar/reception for SC admissions. One of the speakers was the SC Associate Dean of Financial Aid. She commented her committee does not even see the applications for financial aid until the students are already admitted. The subject was not addressed regarding merit scholarships as opposed to need based aid.

These are the main “feeder” high schools for SC students enrolled in the incoming fall 2008 class according to the SC website.

Public:
Arcadia High School
Troy High School
La Canada High School

Independent or Parochial

Punahoe School 25 Hawaii
Mater Dei 22
Iolani School 21 Hawaii
