Hey there CC! So I was recently admitted to USC. Although it is my top choice, it is extremely expensive. It’d cost me about 24K in student loans for the next two years.
I was also admitted to Cal State Long Beach. CSULB is covering my tuition plus I will have priority registration.
Other facts to consider are my major is Business Aministration, so the networking at USC would be amazing. I’m just not sure if it’s worth it. I know 20K in loans is nothing for a private school, but I have the opportunity to graduate with no debt.
Also I’m not sure if I will pursue my MBA. I’m still trying to figure that out. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
That’s a money-maker major, and it is one of USC’s star programs. So, if you can, do it. Cal State really can’t compete with the networking that USC has to offer, and in that field prestige really matters, which USC obviously has. You can’t do college over again, so go with the one that will help you make a career for yourself.
Thank you for the advice! I did end up choosing SC. It’s gonna tough but I think i can manage @ThisOneKid
