Is using an AP study book fine to study for subject tests?

I just recently took the AP World History exam, and in a week and a half I'm going to take the World History Subject Test. My family's pretty poor, and I have no money, so would simply reusing my AP books be fine? I have the Barron's and Kaplan's AP World History editions.
Thank you!

It would probably be fine. Honestly I prefer my Cliffs AP Bio book over the PR review book I bought for Bio. It’s much better organized and assumes/“treats” you like you are intelligent. I’m assuming the same is true for other subject tests. Generally the subject tests contain less information than AP anyway.

I’d recommend visiting a local library or bookstore to do a practice test. Don’t buy the book, just sit for an hour and complete the tests.

Good luck on the exam!

I agree, the AP World prep book should be sufficient- It doesn’t make sense to buy a new book when the general information is the same. But if you’re worried, maybe check a SAT World History book out from the library and review it quickly?

I took the SAT Subject World History using only an AP prep book, and I did fine. I’m sure you will too! Good luck!

You can probably get current books at the library too.
