Is UT a possibility for me?

<p>I am a senior currently waiting to hear from UT. My GPA is currently a 3.6730 and my rank is 72 having gone up from 132 since my freshman year. My current rank puts me in the top 16.5%. My extra circulars include band, which I am in a leadership role, and I am also a member of NHS and NTHS. My SAT is a 1630 and my ACT is 26 (I know my scores are terrible. I am a horrible test taker). I have a Certified Nursing Assistant by participating in a career course. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>If UT = Texas at Austin, your chances are very low since UT admissions are rank-based. Top 7% gets in, top 10% may have a shot with the academic admits, but top 16% is really pushing it. The CNA would help but otherwise I doubt it’s within reach.
