Is UVA a boring experience?

First, is uva lacking in terms of parties and the social enviroment?

Second, what are things that uva kids could do in charlottesville on their free time?

Are you kidding?

Well at least when school is in session.

I know there are parties still going on JPA and Preston and the like, but most of them are by the grad students staying here for the summer.

There were too many things to do when school was in session.

so are you saying there isnt really a “college experience” at uva?

Huh? I didn’t say that at all.

Of course there is.

Do you have poor reading comprehension? That’s not what he said at all.

UVa has a great party scene and there’s a ton to do for college students in terms of athletics, outdoors activities, enjoying good food, the arts, etc. It’s a great overall college experience when you consider the strong academics and job recruiting.

yea i do (630 on CR…) i thought he meant that no parties when school is in session meaning the school year but i got it now thanks guys

what i like uva the most is that there are plenty of opportunities. You can do whatever you want. we have strong academics and if you are bright you can easily find research opportunities. Other than partying there are also a lot of other things to do in the weekend. Gym, pool, and tennis courts are all in great shape. Last year I literally have no one minute that I’m bored.
