<p>northwesty, I believe you are in Colorado. IS selectivity and yield are already great. Many complaints every year about great IS kids not getting admitted. There are many more OOS applicants than IS. The OOS students getting accepted are applying to many other top schools. If they all don’t want to end up at UVa, so what. There are still plenty of OOS kids that want to be there and if the finances and fit work out ,it’s all good. There is no shortage of OOS applicants.</p>
