Is Vanderbilt Good Enough?

To answer this again (I know other posters have already addressed this):

You are a prospective student to Vanderbilt. Vandy happens to be one of the best schools in the country. Vandy’s acceptance rate was well below 20% this year.

Now, as a rising senior who has not been accepted ANYWHERE, you have trashed a particularly fine school. Falsifying info on this post makes it appear that vandy is full of HYP rejects, something that isn’t true (for the most part).

FYI. Good to keep in mind.

My nephew graduated Vandy last May. His SAT’s and GPA were much lower than my S1’s. My S1 decided to ED to Tufts…he just fell in love with it. Vandy is ranked much higher. Who cares? Both schools have name recognition and what matters is that you’re happy. No doubt you will get a good education. Funny, I’ve said this before…I was the one that wanted my S1 to apply to Ivy’s…his GPA was “over the top” good. HE on the other hand could care less about prestige and actually looked at colleges as if he could see himself living there for 4 years…congratulations on Vandy, a great school. Ivy’s are over-hyped, imho.
