I am a high school junior and I was wondering what my odds are of getting into Vassar College. Most of the classes I have taken were either Honors or AP courses. I have a 3.67 unweighted GPA and a 2150 SAT score. Of course these two items aren't the only things that colleges factor into their decisions, but I would like to know how good I look as an applicant based on my basic information. And would being an Asian male work toward my advantage? I plan on applying Early Decision to Vassar as it is my absolute dream school.

Academics are not the only factor in admissions; we can’t really get a good sense of whether you are cut out or not because you have not offered any idea upon your ECs and such. But your SAT is good and your GPA is decent.

I think you have a really strong chance. You have a strong SAT score and a good gpa (provided there is no grade inflation at your school). As long as your EC’s are on par, you have a great shot. The female to male ratio as Vassar is slightly skewed, although not as much as some people say, but being a male will probably help you.
