Is Wharton beyond me?

I am an Asian male from Pakistan

My SAT1 640CR 700M 700W
I have given it again in December and i think i would get something like a 660CR 740M 700W.
MY SAT2 Math2C 800 Physics 770

My High School GPA is 3.8 out of 4 and course load is second to the most difficult course load people have taken in school
My school does not rank but, ill be at least top 10%

And i am sure ill write very good Essays

I am applying for business at the following places according to preference:
U Penn - Wharton
MIT-Sloan
Cornell
Washington U- Olin
U of Notre Dame
Villanova
U of Richmond
SUNY-Binghamton
McGill
U of Toronto

However, I am applying for need based aid as an international. I can pay around 25000 dollars so i would need around 40% to 50% aid.

Please chance me. Thank you

no, not at all.

Actually I think that even though i have a good academic background and decent EC's and stuff, everything about me is "above average". I mean i think you need something outstanding, or a hook if you like, to get into places like Penn.

no, no you dont. Just be yourself, they will like you or they wont.

Your SATs are weak, Wharton likes 800s on the MathIIc, which is a plus for you; but your SAT scores are low. MIT is a big reach (SATs), Cornell is do-able, McGill is a yes, I'm not sure about the others.

U Penn - Wharton: unlikely, largely due to the limited financial aid Penn gives out to internationals. Without the aid, you would have had a decent, but still not a particularly good shot.
MIT-Sloan: extremely unlikely (very few intls. are accepted into Sloan, + you are evaluated in context of all the applicants to the school as a whole not just Sloan even though you are only competing for spots with the Sloan kids & MIT has one of the most insanely competitive applicant pools in the world)
Cornell: maybe (fin.aid is a problem)
Washington U- Olin: likely
U of Notre Dame: very likely
Villanova: very likely
U of Richmond: you're in
SUNY-Binghamton: you're in
McGill: you're in
U of Toronto: you're in

Yeah I understand that i have weak SAT1 scores, but if i improve to the estimates i have given above: 740M, 660CR, 700W, will it increase my chance significantly at wharton? MIT is just a shot, i dont care if i get rejected. But what do i lack for Wharton, apart from SAT1?

Please i would like more opinions

Unfortunately, a 60 point increase will make essentially no difference for Penn...You don't really lack anything, you are just subject to a very low acceptance rate which means that thousands of highly qualified applicants like you get rejected. The financial aid + international pakistani male, only make your odds lower....
Don't mean to be harsh. I wont be surprised at all if you get in, you're a very strong applicant. But I wont be surprised if you're rejected/waitlisted either.

I think 60 points is alot though. Anyway i know you guys are not like adcoms or anything but what percentage chance do i chance at Wharton?

Do you guys like read the first line of the thread "I am an Asian male from Pakistan" and go like "yet another Asian" and press the back button of your browser?

bump............................

Good chances everywhere except MIT and Wharton will be slight reaches. Chance me too, if you want. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/428602-chance-me-cornell-hofstra.html

thanks. Anyone else?

No, wharton aint beyond you. Just make sure you lie handsomely.

you are an ass Omar
