Is Wharton Undergrad worth it?

I mostly just want to get in to Penn, but I also want to eventually get into Wharton grad school. I heard that if you are an undergrad of Wharton, then you automatically become a grad. Considering the extremely low acceptance rate, Is it even worth it to try out? I am definitely doing Penn ED, so can if I apply to Wharton undergrad in ED, then do they also tell me whether I got into Penn or not (if I get rejected to Wharton)? What is the acceptance rate of Wharton undergrad RD and ED?

This is confusing. It is also college specific, you it would be better to post on the UPenn CC page. But I do know that if you go to Wharton undergrad, you do not automatically get into the Wharton grad school if that is what you mean. And if you apply to Wharton I believe (although I am not 100% certain) you will be accepted or rejected to Wharton and that you are not given the chance to flip into the liberal arts school if you don’t get into Wharton undergrad.

You must apply to Wharton as an undergrad. The acceptance rate is somewhere between 5%-8%, so I’ve read. Most Wharton undergrads do not get their MBA, they usually don’t need to have a MBA. At Penn you apply to an individual college not the university.

The post is confusing. You cannot apply to Wharton and ask to be moved into the pool for another school at Penn if you don’t get into Wharton. If you want to go to Wharton undergrad, then you should apply to Wharton. It is extremely difficult to transfer into Wharton from another school at Penn (they are wise to that trick). Going to Wharton undergrad in no way guarantees you admission to the Wharton MBA program. It would be worth your time to look at the Penn website very carefully to understand how the admission process there works.
