is writing 37 good for me?

i received a message saying that i'm eligible to be enrolled in writing 37.
now, i did not pass the analytical writing exam nor passed both of my ap english in my junior and senior year of high school. so i have to take writing 39a.
how hard exactly is writing 37? i'm not very good in writing, i must say.
would enrolling in this class be a good idea if i didn't pass the calc exam? -_-
which would mean that this can distort the schedule of my classes huh?

also after taking the calc exam, it says to take math 1b or math 1a. (note math 1b being placed there first, meaning i can just go ahead with math 1b right? or does not taking math 1b this upcoming fall quarter and taking another calc exam to be placed in math 2a, exist?

is it really that bad to have 2 extra classes (which don't count in ge's)

ohhh so many questions..
it really sucks that i don't have a good studying strategy..

thanks

on a lighter note, spop tomorrow :)

can’t answer anything but the writing 37 question.

37 is essentially a combination of 39a and 39b; it isn’t harder, it’s just more rigorous.

what that means is the material isn’t more difficult than if you took 39a and 39b separately, but since the class is condensed, it will move quicker and you’ll have more work and assignments to do.

i never took 37, but some friends of mine have; it’s not too bad from what i’ve heard.
