ranked by us news.. and which groups are considered the "competitive' schools?

where do you find that?

the gold, silver stuff

My high school rates a bronze - but only because we’re low income :(

The much better schools half an hour away weren’t honored at all…

My state has no gold schools. My alma mater is not on the list at all. My son’s school is too new to be on the list.

hahahahahahahahahahahahaahaah no. my school would rank as a “rusting iron” school or something.

Silver…but we’re somehow number 1 in the state

silver, we’re only about 10 years old

oh snap.

we’re a gold school

We’re bronze… no money.

I left a high school that was a gold medal school when I got there so that I could homeschool. (=

Gold and #1 in our state

It is such a flawed rankings. For example, the number 4 school, High Technology High School, has only 60-70 students for each class, and they are selected from the entire county. If you take top 60-70 students from any top ten schools from the njmonthly, they will achieve the same SAT scores. The rankings should be based on either how many over-achievers in math/science etc, or yearly improvements, not to measure a school which takes a few smart kids and makes the numbers. I would like to see if High Technology can maintain its rankings when they expand to 400 students each class, even as a magnet school in that poor county.

I think my school is bronze.

we’re gold!

My school is probably a lump of coal.

Mine’s probably a piece of coal aswell… hah

this ranking system sounds bogus. there are only 10 to 15 legit public schools.

mine failz

ranking system is bogus…we’re a silver

but c’mon its a public school and it’s not that great

a bronze or worse in my eyes

“U.S. News & World Report rated -my school- 74th in 2008.”
