Is your Senior class getting chummy?

<p>Just curious if this is happening for any other folks. My class is getting all really friendly with one another...randomly. I've been ignored for 2 years (I transferred in) but all of a sudden people are like, "Ohai WMMC!" ..etc. The guys are going a little googley too :rolleyes: Maybe I just transformed from a hideous monster to what I am now in less than a year. I could turn this into a nice sci-fi flick.</p>

<p>hmm…I guess it’s happening a little bit, I mean people are really interested in where everyone’s going and really supportive about it…I think that while everyone is coming a bit closer together though, closer friends have been moving more apart–one of my friends has been literally attached to two other girls since elementary school, and senior trip issues have them not even talking to each other</p>

<p>Last year in my school everyone moved closer together as it was the last year. Suddenly people didn’t have so much to loose anymore socially so people started talking to each other more. It was very nice, I wonder if that will happen next year in this school.</p>

<p>Yeah, it’s just annoying that people are doing that now. Kind of just emphasizes the fake facade they’ve been carrying on for as long as I’ve been around them. Switch to being really nice now? Suure. Pff. ~>_<~</p>

<p>It may not be a facade. I mean there are people in my class that I’ve barely spoken two words to, but they’ve been there for so long, you know? It’s all a bit weird.
Hope I don’t turn all emo</p>

<p>To some extent, I think so. Everyone has college to talk about now. Like, I just left work, where I tutor 7th graders with other seniors (and some juniors and sophomores) and I was talking to this guy I never talk to about how we both got Likelies and then talking to a girl I haven’t talked to since like 8th grade.</p>

<p>@Gerontius - ya, I know what you mean. In any case I’ll be gone and off to another place in a few months anyway, haha.
@Millancad - I do think it’s the college excitement too. This one girl who was sort of snobbish toward me is now really friendly just because we got into the same school that has a lot of regional prestige.</p>
