Who else is in this storm's path? We're not technically in the cone but we're supposed to get all of the outer bands that produce tornadoes (lovely and Florida doesn't have basements) and strong thunderstorms tomorrow.

Wooow!!! Florida Isaac party over herrrre!! It’s so gloomy outside. Reminds me of winter and I love it! My house just got a storm door so now we don’t have to put hurricane shutters over our door. Which means I can watch the storm right in front of my door :D

It’s actually nice out (75° in August. It’s a very very rare exciting occasion, lol). My dad is cutting a lot off of the tree in our front yard in case we get tornadoes. He’s going to put up the shutters too because the rest of us are paranoid (he loves this stuff and will sit in the garage and watch)

Sadly I haven’t been outside livin’ that hermit life…but I can tell it’s pleasant. You’re lucky you can put your shutters up, my HOA hasn’t sent out a letter saying if we’re allowed to. And we don’t have big trees where I live. Mainly palm trees and oaks, but I am a little concerned about how much rain is coming with the lake behind my house and all :/

Do you know when the thunderstorms are coming tomorrow?

Early in the morning and the whole day into Monday. (School might end up cancelled.) What part are you in? I’m an hour north of Miami.

Dang! I have to go to work at 7 in the morning >:/ Let me add this to the list of reasons why I hate my job…
Anywho…I’m an hour east of Orlando

But let’s hope school is cancelled crosses fingers

It shouldn’t be as bad for you tomorrow morning then. But school will probably be cancelled for you on Monday because that’s probably when it’ll be at its worse for you.

I hope you’re right, Rachel :D

EDIT: Awww I looked at its path and my city is in the orange/yellow section. Not enough to get school cancelled.

school is cancelled for me monday. yay :)))

Danggg where are you Weeknd, if you don’t mind me asking?

Lucky! All school related activities are closed tomorrow (what would normally be open on a Sunday, school wise anyways?). They won’t know about Monday until tomorrow

We’re in the red. Red is TS, and blue is hurricane. We’re at a 3 threat level.

Broward County. so happy :)

Yeah y’all are in SF…I’m having school on Monday. That means I’ll have to deal with a flooding school and smell of wet feet in my classes. I’m overjoyed.

You’re only a county away from me (PBC). Maybe that means they’ll cancel school for us too.

We’re supposed to find out Sunday at 2 if school will be cancelled or not

Where should I park my car on Monday. In the shade (with trees) or out in the open (surrounded by cars)?

How you get out of school, Rachel. It’d be miserable being stuck in the rain at school.

if u want a tree to fall on ur car you can park in the shade. if u want a car to smash ur car you can park in the open.
You see where im going with this

Walk to school. Got it.

I am in Hillsborough county and try haven’t told us of we have school ! I hope not lol I hate the smell of stinky flooded shoes haha :$
