<p>There is no simple answer to your question because it all depends on what kind of a test taker you are. There are 12 year old kids who can whiz through the SAT and get a very high score without any preparation. Others can barely make any improvement after weeks of study. </p>
<p>At the very least, you should take a practice test or 2 to familiarize yourself with the test. If you want to go further, buy a book like the Princeton Review and do all the exercises. I don’t know what more is reasonable to do after that. It is similar to the ssat, so you can read other threads about how people prepared for this test.</p>
