Isham?

I know this is completely and totally unlikely, but i had to ask anyway.

are there any other andover students on this site that will be in Isham Dorm next year? just curious....

I won't be, but I wanted to say congrats, it's an awesome dorm.

I got into 'Abott Cluster, B.Bailey House, Room 202'.

Eh, the only one I knew about beforehand was Taylor House but meh.

Right now, they all seem the same. Only when I get there I can truly have reason for happiness or discontent.

When did you folks get your Andover dorm assignments?

So....we just got ours for my niece. Flagstaff Cluster, Hearsey House. Any information on this dorm?

shore, your prefect, in BBailey, JF, is the man. Unfortunately for you, the daily walks are a pain in the butt.

BrooklynGuy, you should feel very happy for your niece. Her dorm's very close to campus. She's rather fortunate, since she's a new student.

i just got mine, pine knoll cluster stevens east, but i didn't get room mate assignments. do those come later? or does that mean i have a single?

Nah, I didn't get a roomate assigning as well and I specifically requested a roommate. Plus my house has only 10 people, 7 of which are new.

And I'm guessing most new kids would want a roommate at least in their first year at Andover.

If it didn't say you got a roommate, I don't think you're going to get one.
Nice, though. I'm in Stevens East as well. I request it first choice. It's the 3rd closest girls' dorm to campus.
It's odd that you didn't get a roommate, shore; usually singles are in high demand. But in small dorms you don't really need one; you'll probably feel glad to have your own space within a couple weeks. (Trust me, I was in a 10-person dorm last year.) I totally didn't know they were making Bailey upperclassmen. Congrats on Abbot; I had to switch, b/c there are like no upperclassmen girls' dorms, but I personally think it's the best cluster. Bailey is right next door to my dorm last year. Gorgeous house, really old. I will warn you it's far away, though.
Brooklynguy, you're niece should be very happy. That's one of the best all-around girls' dorms on campus this year, I think (except for the fact that it's small, some people don't like that.) But anyway, I know the house counselor in Hearsey (she was a complement in Samaritan House last year) and she's awesome. Really nice, really cool person. She'll like her a lot. I'm jealous; Hearsey was originally going to be a Stack, and I wanted it. Oh, and ridiculously close to classes. She'll love that.

Other people should post their dorms, I want to comment! :P

I'm in double brick. What is it like? How is it?

I got my info emailed to me as I'm travelling so I wouldn't have got the mail in time. So is there any chance they forgot to mention it?

Ah well, it's a small dorm so it shouldn't be too bad but do everyone in Bailey have singles only?

Double Brick is fairly close to campus which is good. It's a good size - only 16, which is not too big and not too small. I've never been inside, but people seem to like it.

On PAnet, under the students tab, in the dean of students box, there is a link called dorm information and room composition where you can see how many singles, doubles, etc. there are in your dorm.

Okay, thanks sugerkim. I'm checking it out right now.

4 singles out of 10 with the rest in doubles with one 2 room double...

Seems a very cozy dorm and apparently my cluster dude is awesome

Hooray for small dorms! And roommate compatibility.

anybody know anything about Isham?
how many people and are the rooms big?

are you going to be in isham next year????? there are 16 people, that's all i know. i'm going to be in that dorm tho, so if you are too i would LOOOOOOOve to talk to you. IM name is CheerioNell

haha yeaaa do you have fb?

Could you tell me which Clusters are the best or their personalities??? Also, what dormitories are the freshman girl dorms and what are their “personalities”???
