ISIS ID For FinAid

I just got an email from the office of Student FInancial Services, but I think they screwed up the computer generated email thingy?

It's addressed
Dear {CMNPersons_FirstName},

and my ISIS ID is given as
ISIS ID: {CMNPersons_Identifier1}

Did the auto mailer at the office go whacky?
Thanks

Yep, I got the same problem.

Seems like the mail merger program got screwed up.

Let us wait for corrections.

Yeah I got the same thing.

me too. i sent them an email but im sure they will get like 50,000 of them so i would expect another round soon.

i sent my 04 tax returns today, and i called them about the glitch with the ISIS ID #, and the finaid office just looked up my ID-- all you need is your social security number--takes 3 minutes, tops

cool

I thought it was ome code and tried figuring it out... I emailed them though

i dont have a social security number.

well, just wait.. it will come soon

yes .. email them and wait.. and they will tell you themselves..

SM

You'd figure, being Johns Hopkins University, they could figure this out.

AdminDaniel, any news?

yeah, seriously, I am getting a little nervous.

JHU is now the only university i havent heard off...... i mean all other have told me either by email or post or even online.. can somebody guide me through...admissiondaniel..?

Patience and understanding please -- it is not easy to process over 13,000 applications. No need to be rude.

As far as the ISIS ID from Fin. Aid, clearly there was a problem with the database and its generating of the email. Contact the financial aid office at fin_aid@jhu.edu or 410-516-8028 if you do not have your information. And yes, they have received a lot of emails so just be patient.

As far as checking application status, you must call 410-516-8171. You need to speak with a person, don't just listen to the messages. The phones are answered weekdays from 9:00am - 4:30pm Eastern Standard Time. They will only confirm if your application has been received and if required documents are missing.

Should I call or wait a few more days?

I have not heard anything yet.

takes 3 minutes, just call, if you don't mind the long distance phone charges

agreed...
The message is massive, so calling from abroad is quite a big bill :D

I called in today and the admission office told me that my application still is incomplete ......

also well my financial aid ISID which I received to day showed missing docs which are required of US citizens.. Since i am an international it didn't apply to me. On calling the finaid office the thing has been changed.. So is it that my application is being shown incomplete because of that .. and due to this only my Financial aid documents are still missing..
Also , I have been told we will soon receive emails over what are missing documents in the application, so that means we can wait i guess for that.

got an emauil with my ISIS ID... finally...

I sent FAFSA 2 weeks ago but it isnt there .... they havent got it apparently

Me too. It says they got my FAFSA, but its not complete. What does that mean?
