Hello, I just have a question about ISIS

My background: Freshman for Fall 2011; Intended major - Biological Engineer; minor - Family, Youth, and Community Sciences; career goal: Pediatrician

So I was wondering if seats become available for Fall registration as the summer progresses and people start going to preview because the people/administration in charge of registration start opening up seats - if that's what they do...

For example, hopefully due to IB scores, I'm pretty confident I will get to place out of CHM2045 and CHM2045L, so I want to take CHM2046/CHM2046L, however, when I try to find courses that are still available on ISIS as if I'm registering for courses (I know I can't register yet since I haven't gone to preview; I'm just curious what courses are still available since I am able to check), I get "There are NO MORE sections of this course which you may add to your schedule" when looking for CHM2046/CHM2046L.

Since I'm majoring in biological engineering, I kind of have to take CHM2046/CHM2046L and I really want to take it in the fall, but no courses are available (I definitely don't want to take CHM2045 because I'll be spending tuition on something I have already learned). I mean, there are 27 CHM2046 courses and they can't all be gone, can they? So I was just wondering if something happens at preview or during the summer that opens up seats in the courses - and not just for CHM, but for other courses like FYC3001 (a course in my intended minor since ISIS says there are only 2 spots left :( ) or LIN3010 (to fill my Humanities req but only 4 seats left...) or PSY2012.

I know that I can't get every course I want, but I just want to put myself in the best position to graduate with my major in 8 semesters rather than the recommended 9. I mean, there has to be some spots reserved for incoming freshman with specific majors and minors, right?

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question; I might have missed something...

Oh yeah, is it easy to get a job at UF (past work-study), ESPECIALLY during the summer, like a busboy, a researcher (since i want to become a doctor), or ANY job - literally anything - since I can't really return home for the summer due to lots of reasons. I just need to support myself throughout the whole summer...I'm literally on my own once i leave here (literally on my own right now in terms of informational stuff, so sorry if all these questions sound obvious....) Thank you! :)
