Maybe I'm jumping the gun a bit...but where and when do I learn my ISIS ID and password? I'm already into the webmail and MyUVA portal, so should I also have my ISIS number? Do any admitted transfers have theirs?

In most cases your login is your Social Security number. Default password is described on the login page.

Yep, SS# was it. I'm a bonehead most of the time. Thanks.

ISIS sucks. You'll know what I'm talking about when you register for classes.

Ugh, and when you're waiting for grades.

Thankfully, a new system has been selected. I don't have a timeline for implementation, but I'm looking forward to it!

It kind of sucks when you don't have the COD update live too. At least when I was in Stanford I didn't have that problem.

Tenniscraze, why don't you just transfer? You're just a storm of negativity. :(

I'm pretty sure UVa wasn't his #1 ... and if I remember correctly and this is the case, well... his bitterness seems to be carrying on still.

I am not a storm of negativity, but I spread the reality of UVA.

Hmmm, not a storm of negativity?

You are least are quite bitter and highly judgement.

Have you got any POSITIVE "realities" to share? I doubt it. You should really think about a serious attitude change. Alright, so you wanted to go to Princeton, Harvard, Stanford, VA Tech, wherever you wanted to go, and you didn't get in, and now you're here. Why don't you enjoy it instead of brooding and being ticked off by harmless pearl-clad sorority girls?

How about we keep this discussion in the appropriate thread

I think the COD does update live to an extent. It just updates every 15-20 minutes from what I've heard. Problem is during course selection time or the first week of class there are so many changes it's difficult for it to give accurate numbers.

No the COD does not update every 15-20 minutes. During course registration it updates about every 4 hours and during other times once or twice a day.

Semiserious: Try spelling "judgmental" before coming to an elite university. I think, more than anything, criticisms add to the wide range of opinions different people have on the flaws or greatness of a particular school. Do you know that countless of people have ISISsues when signing up a class? Sometimes you can't even log in because it is so trafficked. That being said, my criticism is to make people aware of the flaws of ISIS so it can be improved in the future. For the record, I didn't apply to Princeton, Harvard, and VA tech and I was at Stanford a while ago. So it's not that "I'm here" because of the assumptions you made about me.

I think the positive realities to share about UVA is the academics. Most professors are great here - for example Richard Handler. You should totally take his ANTH225 class because he will make you think of the world differently. I love how it's all green and clean here; it reminds me of California a lot. People here are friendly and not rude, apart from sorostitutes that can at times be superficial and ignorant.

Sv3a: The COD is updated like only 3-4 times a day and most schools have it updated live. So we're lacking and when we are ranked 2nd in the public, this is not a good thing. The administration needs to work on it.

I'm sorry, my rage blinded me and caused my fingers to spasm, making me miss a few keys when typing "judgemental".

I'm glad to see there's at least one thing that makes you happy. Now let's work on that positive attitude, shall we? Greeks, non-greeks, ISIS-haters (from what I've heard, just about everyone is one), can't we all just get along?

Of course we can, but we can't all just pretend the problems don't exist, and as is, the point of this thread is to highlight the problematic nature of ISIS.

Actually the point of this thread was to tell the OP how to long onto ISIS.

And may I add that he has already experienced issues with ISIS so there's no help in hiding the problematic and confusing nature of the system.

Okay. The point of the thread is still the same.
