Lots of people from normal local public or private schools apply to colleges and universities in the USA. You are not alone. If you meet with the college counselors at your closest EducationUSA ( [Educational Advising Centers ? EducationUSA](Find An Advising Center) ) office, you will get up-to-date advice that is specific to students from your kind of school in your own country. There appear to be several locations in Bangkok.

Wishing you all the very best.

I went 2 a state school in India. And I don’t think I was at a disadvantage for that compared to the students who went to say an intl. school or an IB school. The only disadvantage I encountered was in getting reccos. and transcripts for my prelims marks because my Junior College didn’t have anyone else asking for those.

For a public school or state school, start as early as possible because most of these don’t have dedicated counsellors like say IB schools so the officials r always gonna be busy.

Thanks for you all comments.
I have another problem. My first language is not English and I don’t think I will get a good score on SAT. Will that affected my application?

A bad SAT score will definitely not help your case

A low SAT score will definitely not help your case

So bad,I wish I Had born in USA

Even if you were American, a low SAT score wouldn’t do you any favours

I didn’t go to int’l high school as well. Look where I am now.

Your case is really interesting Tsengunn
