Isn't this a little weird?

I applied for EE and was late with submitting my credentials, very late. So I decided that I would stick it out and do RD instead of EE. However, on the 5th, 17 days before EE decisions were announced, one of the admissions officers called my guidance counselor asking for my SAT scores. My GC told me that they had a great conversation about my application that lasted a good 30 minutes or so. What does this ultimately mean, if anything? My GPA is quite low so I don’t really expect it to mean too much…

Wellesley has a wonderful proactive admissions program that is willing to go an extra mile to uncover the talent it wants on campus. Whether your profile ultimately fits with the class being assembled will not be known, however, until spring decisions are released. Best of luck to you!

@oregon2016 Thank you for the insight!
