<p>Our daughter, a freshman at a top 15 liberal arts college, is home for winter break and making semi-serious noises about filing transfer applications. She earned just under a 3.7 GPA in her first semester and had a 4.0+ GPA in high school (with 9 AP classes) and a 32 on the ACT. </p>
<p>At this point I'd simply appreciate hearing how strong of a transfer candidate she might be for a top college. I have no idea how high of a GPA most top colleges expect from transfer applicants. Thanks.</p>
