ISP question...

Well, I applied as undecided and I got invited to the Cities Program and The European Civilization one... so who knows?

But anyway, the letter does say that you can reply saying you're interested in the other programs. So you can invite yourself :)

I've been invited to the Interarts, Cities, and Euro Civ. programs.

Each time I've recieved the large envelope I've thought it was an admissions decison.

If you are very interested in a program, like cablevisionidk said, email the program director/adviser and get yourself invited. I know at least two people who did that and got into the program of their choice.

Has anybody heard if they have been accepted into ISP yet? Will we get something if we are not choosen?

I am still waiting to hear if I was accepted in the ISP program..... Just got my financial aid package, and it was just about enough to cover the cost of gas to get back and forth to school during the year!;), so now, the ISP may be one of the major factors in my decision of where I go next September. Has anyone heard anything?

The letter just came today for my daughter. Her host for the VIP day will be an ISP student.

I got my letter too! But I will be in Baltimore visting Johns Hopkins on the same days as Trinity is having their VIP days. It is between Trinity/ISP or JHU, I really didn't get any aid from either place, so it is going to be the same cost.... I have visited Trinity before, because I have a friend who goes there, that is why I decided to go see JHU.
oldfort, please let me know what your daughter thinks about her visit.

If you get into one of these gateway programs, You could almost say that u are in. As jtvoyager said, why would some one care about what u do after u get in to a college without knowing that u are probably in by now.

ISP is an amazing experience. It is one of those programs at Trinity that will open up a plethora of information. It is a looooot of work, but donot get disheartened by that, it is a lot of fun too. And the fact that u do that much work, increases ur credibility to other professors greatly.
