The advantage has been overwhelmingly Israel’s for some time now, and the Palestinians haven’t been exterminated. If Israel really wanted to get rid of the Palestinians, they would have done it by now. They’ve had plenty of chances.

your point? and no one’s talking about extermination.

I guess the Palestinians should stop starting wars and losing them, then, LogicWarrior.

Israel’s policies disgust me, but that graphic has so many things wrong with it I can’t even begin to address them all.

No one, except for Hamas (aka the Palestinian Government)-

[Hamas: Jews has to be exterminated - Likud of Holland](http://www.likud.nl/extr475.html)

What makes Israel Apartheid Week so disturbing is how aggressive it has become. Jewish students on campus are made to feel very uncomfortable and vulnerable. The argument “Let the Jewish students run their own education campaign” is ignorant of the fact that Jewish students would never behave in an intimidating and threatening way. Unfortunately misinformation is being spread in the name of “free speeh”.

What does this really mean? Jewish students are morally superior or something? Honestly, too bad. Just because Jewish students don’t allegedly have the spine for a more effective education front on the subject - hell, any front at all - doesn’t determine what others can say about Israel.

The hell is wrong with you? You know all of the information in the world as accurate or inaccurate or fact or fiction? Are you God or something?

The Israel Apartheid Week people aren’t campaigning “in the name of 'free speech”. They can do it because it IS free speech. This isn’t a first amendment issue for them or anyone else. Only those who don’t like what they say think that it is a first amendment issue. Unfortunately, you do not have a right to not be offended.

May I remind you that I am outspoken against Israel Apartheid Week and I would probably agree with your point of view on the subject, but it is incredibly narrow to believe that this speech should be banned.

Interesting…

If Jewish students feel there is misinformation being spread, they should gather their own facts, make their own posters, and protest next week (or whenever).

Why is it “intimidating and threatening” to say that Israel does bad things? Even if it’s a ridiculous and blatant lie, how precisely does it intimidate Jewish students?

I mean, I’m Mexican, but it would never occur to me that I should be personally offended when people talk about how drug lords run free in Mexico…

I don’t think Jewish students should be offended at all. Israel Apartheid Week is solely about Israel, mostly about how it is building a wall twice the size of the Berlin wall that is taking up Palestinian land, and preventing Palestinians from reaching food or medical help by cutting off roads. I know Jewish students who don’t support Israel. I even had a Jewish professor who told me he has a brother who lives there, but doesn’t agree with his brother or the country’s actions. If students who support Israel (and they could be Jewish, they could also not be) want to set up their own booth, than that’s fine. I’m Palestinian btw.

I think the point is that nobody cares if they are offended or not. They don’t have a right to not be offended by something. I could conceive how Jews might find some things offensive about IPW. I personally do not care because I control the media and government anyway, so it isn’t like the IPW organizers are going to change anything. I’m Jewish btw.

You can be Jewish and not support Israel’s actions. Your religion doesn’t dictate who you support. Do you really want to believe in a cause just because it is allied with your religious preferences?
