Issues with new email account...

<p>A couple of questions:</p>

<ol>
<li>how can i easily access my ucsd.edu email account? it seems like you have to go through a maze to get to ACMS</li>
<li>i reset my password and was given sdcc15.ucsd.edu as my email server but it won't let me log in?</li>
</ol>

<p>before you log onto your new account with your re-set password you need to wait a while (it said usually around 30 mins). hopefully after that period you can log on</p>

<p>Mine did those weird things when it was new…if you’re sure you have the right username and password, it may just need some time to reset. Wait a day or so. </p>

<p>And yes, bookmark the site and/or forward it. Personally, I have difficulties forwarding things to my gmail already so I just do that.</p>

<p>I’m an entering freshman for 2010. Were we supposed to have gotten an e-mail about setting up a UCSD e-mail account? I’ve never gotten any kind of notice or announcement, but it seems like other new admits have.</p>

<p>i never got an email but if you log into your triton link from myapplication and look at your new admit checklist, you can check your email status</p>

I didn’t get a message/email about the UCSD email either, but I went and checked on the ACS website and they had indeed created an account for me already. I just had to change the password and I was good to go! I suggest you check as well…</p>

<p>I don’t think UCSD sends you an email notifying you of your UCSD email. haha, you have to check your email status by signing on to Tritonlink!</p>
