IST at Penn State

<p>I have not seen anyone on here that has been accepted into the IST programs at Penn State UP. Is this because they are hard to get in to or small programs in relation to other programs at University Park? </p>

<p>I was accepted into the IST program! I don’t know if it’s hard to get into or not. I heard back in November.</p>

SAT 1940
GPA 3.98 class rank 20/250 or so</p>

<p>I’m not sure it is classified as a “small” program. We asked and were told that enrollment in IST at University Park is anywhere from 900-1200 students. (the total undergrad enrollment statewide is listed as 2400) This would be much larger than other IST programs such as PITT where it is about 155 undergrads and Temple with about 300.</p>
