I applied as a transfer to VPA and Newhouse rather late but before the deadline. I got a 1240 on my SATS (old), 27 ACT, been on the dean's list for 3 semesters, and I also have a brother in SU. I did the tour and had the interview... I completed my application in mid February and I still have gotten no decision.

The acceptance letter in myslice used to say it was unavailable, but about a month ago it started to display a blank screen... I hope that's not a sign.

I call them every 3 weeks or so and they say the same thing.... the decision should be made in 2-3 weeks....

W...T....F... is going on! I got accepted into my other school and I have to make deposits by May 1st to register... late.

Anyone else in the same boat?

I am. My application is done, I’ve gotten some acceptances from other schools…but nothing from SU.

SU was my first choice…but…Yeah…time is closing fast.

have you called the admissions office? i am pretty sure they have sent all of their decisions out!

Also worth noting that I’m applying as a transfer, so my decision might not be til mid-may.

I’m applying as a transfer, and I got in today!

Congratulations on your admission to the combined enrollment program in The College of Arts and Sciences and the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University for the fall semester, 2010.

What do they mean by this:

To reserve your place in the fall class, please submit the online Admission Acceptance Form (AAF) and any applicable advance payments no later than seven days from the date on this letter.

Do I have to SIR in 7 days!? WHat if I want to wait for more decisions??

I just spoke to someone and they said that they’re holding my decision until they see my Spring Transcripts. I guess I get to wait a bit longer.

It’s good and bad for me, I guess.

Good: I’ll have a 4.0 GPA this semester and my course load consists of a lot of technical Biology courses.

Bad: I already have a few admissions that I don’t want to expire…
