<p>Wait, what's the committee process vs. whatever they used to use in the admissions decisions process??!?</p>
<p>It used to be that the Dean of Admission had final say as to whether or not a student was accepted. Now it is decided by committee.</p>
<p>Oh. So it's like the Columbia system now? Where the applications rep reads it and bring it before a committee and argue why you should be admitted? Or is it like Yale, where they sit around a table and think about what type of people they need and the admissions officer just happens to remember your name and recommends you as that "type" of person for the class?</p>
