It is like a freakin' phonebook!

A while back, I received a lovely gift from WUSTL in the form of a book discussing all of their undergraduate programs and requirements and descriptions of the classes. It's about 370 or so pages, and the print is very small.

Is this common? I was very intrigued by this. I mean, I've gotten catalogs, but this surprised me. Of course some friends were like, "that means you have to get in" but I received it before I even finished my application, so I'm not even going to pretend they want me that bad. Haha.

I just hardly know what to make of it. Did you get one?

everybody gets one

WUSTL is known for sending their course catalogs. Do not confuse it with a letter of admission.

Do they? Huh. I feel kinda silly now, but thank you.

And I didn’t, believe me.

I seriously think sending the books to everyone is a BIG waste of money.

Yea… it seems really silly to send this thing out. It has to cost them a bunch and I imagine most students just throw it away (or hopefully recycle, I suppose). All that information is available on the Internet (and much more easily searched, too).
