It must have gotten harder

On the UW admissions website they have an article on the myths of UW admission process. It says one of the myths is that they have raised there standards over the years. I find this hard to belive when I am looking at **************w.com and several people listed there acceptances from 2004 that had 3.0 GPA's and a 21 on the ACT. Do many students still get in today today with these numbers, or have they really just had such a rise in applicants that they are just taking the absolute best of the best.

The later. That article was to assuage the public. No the minimums are the same but hardly anyone gets in with just the minimum anymore.

Regardless the minimum, just on being the best of what you can be, the admission process will take care of itself.
