It’s hard to be both pretty AND smart. Maizey’s just…very pretty :heart_eyes:

Lol. The actual Bron-Y-Aur Stomp lyric is “ain’t no companion like a blue eyed merle”. People commonly mishear it as blue eyed girl. Right up there with people thinking Hendrix was saying " 'scuse me while I kiss this guy". But that’s a topic for another thread.

So many cute pups! Here’s ours, Peppermint. Part Pyrenees definitely, and maybe part Australian shepherd?

We adopted him from someone who was moving out of the country and couldn’t take him. He’s the best dog I’ve ever owned.

Sam was pulled from the shelter by a local rescue group with his mom and two sisters. He joined our family six years ago as a two-month old puppy.

Loving this thread and all the photos of our furry family members.

This is my granddog. I am babysitting him for a week (starting today) while D2 is away on vacation.

I want to have his life. He was a rescue from Puerto Rico. I was never a dog person before. He changed me.

Priceless pic!

OMG . . . .

I’m an Aussie fan, as I think you know. What a cutie.

They bob the tails for Aussies. Don’t know why; even our breeder doesn’t know. But it’s the custom. They do it when they are barely born, so they don’t know anything different.

My three Aussies. Sadly, only the baby is still with us.

In the United States. Not world-wide

I had an Aussie as a child, and she had a beautiful tail. Docking is banned in many Western European nations, amongst others.
