<p>Would IT Security be Computer Science, Engineering, or Computer IT?</p>
<p>I've been searching for awhile and it's killing me since I cannot find it.</p>
<p>It depends on which aspect of security you’re interested in. Computer Technology would be to learn security tools. There are Computer Security specialization in CIS programs too and that deals with the business and management aspects. The CS degree looks at the theory aspect and includes the actual research and development of security tools.</p>
<p>If you are talking Crypto, then it would be Math or Computer Science.</p>
