It seems like i'm the only one who STILL has major pennportal problems :'(

<p>the penn portal has been bugging me the WHOLE TIME ever since i sent my ED app in mid-october :(</p>

<p>to start, i received my portal id over a month after i sent in my application
and i've had stuff missing the whole time :( :(
all my stuff were sent online, except for my 9th grade transcript (i changed secondary schools) and my arts supplement music CD.</p>

<p>my secondary school report, counselor's recommendation, and one teacher rec were all missing, and i was pretty worried but apparently penn had some problems with its software and my "missing" stuff were all sent online; they couldnt have become lost. i thought everything would be ok.</p>

<p>but then this friday, ONE WEEK BEFORE DECISIONS COME OUT, penn emailed me and said that my counserlor recommendation, teacher rec, and school report were really missing.
i was freaking out, like seriously. my teacher and counselor said that the forms they sent online were all received and even downloaded by penn on oct 20..how could they be missing? :(
well, my teachers were helpful and immediately helped me fax the stuff to penn, but i havent heard from admissions or gotten any changes in my pennportal since :'(.
wellll im right now just venting like crazy in here haha but i seriously feel frustrated..and sad.
its less than a week before results come out..if my applications hasnt been processed till now then its probably gonna affect me....?right? IT REALLY SUCKS cause i worked so hard on my penn app. sniff sniff
to think that i might get rejected because of late school forms really makes me frustrated</p>

<p>i tried calling the admissions office, but i live outside the US and somehow my international calling card doesnt work. sigh</p>

<p>*oh just now my portal showed that there were finally 2 teacher recs
i was sooo happy and i clicked to check..
and it shows that the "second teacher rec" is logged under the teacher who wrote a rec letter for my ARTS SUPPLEMENT FORM.
hhahahahahaha omg great.</p>

<p>i thought i had a pretty decent chance ED. never expected something lyk this to happen.. now i have no idea what to think/expect</p>

<p>you're not the only one... just don't worry about it (like I haven't) because they probably just haven't logged everything in. They would have contacted you by now if they didn't have everything.</p>

<p>a few days ago, one of my friends got an email from the admission office saying that her transcript was missing. it was really annoying cause she put her transcript and her secondary school report in the same envelop, but the office only got her SSR--i think it is obvious that it's their fault. anyway she send her transcript again. :( what a crap</p>

<p>Ya guys we are all having similar problems, I think it's just their setup that's messed up and we shouldn't worry about it. If there's a bunch of people having the same problems, chances are it's not going to hurt anybody and it's not our fault. Penn's just having trouble with its new setup for these things.</p>

Last Thursday they wrote emailed me to tell me my counselor's form and recommendation is still missing. I faxed them immediately.. but when I called and emailed they wouldn't tell me whether they have received it. It was not until today that they updated the system and got everything there. so late. I guess no chance anyway.</p>
